Pura Vida With My Amigas

Bachelorette parties can be pretty difficult to plan, especially when you’re trying to travel out of the country with eight women.

I mean just think about it, a group of eight women, that’s eight different opinions, personalities, budgets…sounds like a nightmare.

Fortunately for me, img_0074.jpgmy boyfriend recommended using a company called BIDO “Before I Do” Events. This company truly provided a top-notch service, making us all feel like VIPS; which was perfect for our “Bach & BOUJEE” theme.

We traveled to the beautiful country of Costa Rica, specifically Jaco. Upon arriving, we were warmly greeted with a personalized sign made just for the bride! We hopped in our private bus, which was generously stocked with celebratory champagne and beer from the local brewery. The drive from the airport to Jaco was about an hour long, but our driver made a few pit-stops along the way, making it feel more like a fun tour than a long drive.

Ever wanted to feed HUGE wild alligators? We were able to check that off our bucket list! maxresdefaultPictures do not do these massive animals any justice. This is a must for tourist visiting Costa Rica for the first time. Our stop was not complete without trying delicious food from a small local restaurant. Everything was so fresh and seasoned to perfection (and I’m a pretty picky eater).

We finally arrived at our condo, and can I just say, WOW! We had a beautiful four-bedroom, 5-bathroom condo, with a wrap-around balcony facing the ocean. If you left the doors open, you could hear the waves crashing like a mesmerizing tune. BIDO made sure we had everything we needed, from blowing up a GINORMOUS ring floatie for us, to even running around last minute to find us some tape so we could put up our bachelorette decorations.

To go along with our Boujee theme, BIDO arranged for us to have a personal chef cook breakfast and dinner during our stay in Jaco. Pana, the chef was not only an exceptional cook but so sweet and friendly. He took his time to ensure we all enjoyed the food.

Now what’s a bachelorette party without some nightlife right!?
Because BIDO provided us with our own private transportation during our stay, we were able to bar hop the night away. The nightclubs and bars were buzzing with music, dancing and enjoyment.
There was no need to wear your fanciest dress or tallest heels, which was a nice change from the Miami night scene. The music seemed to get better and better with ever bar and club we went to, allowing us to sing at the top of our lungs and dance the night away.

One of my favorite parts of this bachelorette trip were the excursions.Processed with VSCO with aga3 preset Costa Rica is all about enjoying and appreciating nature, something we tend to forget in Miami. BIDO coordinated for the group to ride ATVs through the jungle, go ziplining, and even take a tour with some wild monkey friends! Time seemed to move slow in Costa Rica, allowing us to take in and enjoy every moment. There was no hustle and bustle, no stress, just Pura Vida.
I cannot say enough about our amazing experience in Costa Rica with BIDO. The lifestyle and mentality of the Costa Rican locals is something that has truly made an impact on me. And the service and care provided by Greg and the BIDO team is
something I had never experienced before. I am so grateful we were able to provide my sister with an unforgettable bachelorette party. Maid of honor duties complete….at least until wedding day.
